This Monster wasn't always thought to be a Monstera, but a Pothos, but closer inspection of its traits put it in the Monstera camp. It does resemble Pothos in the way it behaves, trailing and super climbing. Long, strong, smooth leaves crowd onto their strong green stems pretty close together, simple veins lining and slightly quilting the leaves, so when the plant gets going it's just a profusion of leaves. Emerald green and bright white paint the leaves in splotches and patches in endless combinations, every leaf an artwork. Unlike some of those larger Monsteras, this one keeps its leaves in one piece, resisting the dramatic splits and holes shot throught the leaves and keep their juvenile form, like a Pothos. We're not saying never, though.... be sure to let us know if you see a split or hole! Give it a pole, maybe a moss filled one to glom on to; it loves to climb, rumored to get up to 20' outside in the rainforest, and who knows in your inside rainforest? An easy, easy one to care for and so beautiful.
