Like so many of our houseplants, Vrieseas were collected from primeval rainforests to grace our homes with a touch of that wild nature we crave. A graceful fountain of a plant, Tosca's foliage flows upwards and gently curves down, most leaves having a little dimply dip at the tip before it ends, pointing to the floor. Strong and strappy, the leathery medium green leaves are finished in a semi-gloss sheen. The flower is a wide paw of scarlet/tangerine/yellow hues on a strong red stem. The flower appears once per plant, with many pups springing up at the base of the plant to take over in an endless cycle of renewal. Lovely paired with ferns and other leafy houseplants, it singlehandedly brings the rainforest inside your home.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
