What a beauty this Pineapple is! Most Pineapples are a dusty, ordinary green but this rainbow variegated one is something else. Brooding, moody, burgundy green leaves are slashed with fiery streaks of livid fuchsia, reds, and all the yellowy, corally oranges of the sunset. Viewed from space, (or just from above) you see a long legged, spidery star shape, ever emerging from the center. Yes, you will get a pineapple, usually small but sweetly fragrant and edible. As a houseplant, lovely, colorful Ananas is a perfect complement to all those green plants you have.

- Water - Medium (3): Water plant when dry. Plant does not like soil to always be moist, but doesn't like to stay dry once becomes dry. Water as soon as soil is dry.
- Light - Med/High (4): Needs more light than most, but direct light not necessary. Can handle morning and afternoon sun directly on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
