Ok, Essencia Brown sounds like a 1970's action movie. Actually developed by Anthura- plant breeders and innovators in the Netherlands, Essencia Brown's actually named for the coffee brown flush over patent leather (really shiny leather) flowers, huge and wrinkled, deep burgundy red hearts. The complementary spadix is a textured, dullish burgundy and kinda large. Leaves are really long hearts coming to a really long point in a nice, shiny green with paler veins. All the leaves are very textured and slightly folded along the midrib. Flowers and leaves don't just lie flat and behave but wave and swerve around; there's a lot of movement and interest, just what you'd expect from an action hero. Anthuriums are somewhat thirsty, and so hardy and easy, going everywhere you want.

Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
