Dutch based Anthura horticultural company is responsible for so many of our lovely Anthurium hybrids (and orchids too) and they are responsible for Florida Orange too. Named for the "orange state", Florida, the orange flowers really are the point of this beauty. Large, rounded, super shiny, the orangest of flowers, big tangerine hearts float in a bunch above the crowd of typical Anthurium leaves, satiny deep green, wide and pointy with their points all pointing outwards in a circle. All Anthuriums are super strong and easy care and surprisingly thirstier than you'd think. Still water when dry, but dry happens pretty fast with this strong grower. Almost always in bloom or about to bloom, this is the perfect gift when you want to give flowers but don't want a bouquet that doesn't last. You'll love how easygoing Orange can be.
