6" Anthurium, Livium

$42.01

Pretty Anthurium Livium made her debut at the Royal Flora Trade Fair in Holland relatively recently to widespread admiration. Developed in 2017 by Anthura, plant breeder in the Netherlands, it was presented as a "completely new generation" of Anthuriums. It's truly a beautiful Anthurium. The leaves are medium sized, deep, saturated emerald green, pointy hearts filling the pot and making a perfect background for those amazing flowers. Newest leaves are a bright glossy grass green then settle down to emerald.  The flowers all fly high above the plant in a fluttery cloud, maybe a selected trait. A delicate red tints rounded, heart flowers with shy little tips that turn away. Curving, muted and wispy, airy brushed on creamy white lines softly stripe the flowers from spadix to tips, the nubby spadix in their center poking straight up in muted pinks and yellows. The blooms all hang out at the same height up there, making a full bouquet that lasts for a real long time. So pretty!

Quick Care Guide:

  • Water - Med/High (4):  Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
  • Light - Medium (3):  Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
  • Difficulty - Low/Med (2):  A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
