Melodia Red is a beautiful, relatively new cultivar created by Anthura, a prominent plant breeder and important developer of lovely new Anthuriums. This one has absolutely the most exciting red you have ever imagined. Deepest, saturated, the most perfect lipstick red is painted on cupped and pointed oval spathes, slightly visible red veins running down to the tip.. All the flowers rise up and fly high above the leaves in a crowd of redness, spadixes pale, creamy yellow curving and leaning out from their spathes. The color show is just spectacular! Extra large, pointed, heart-shaped leaves tilt downwards so you can see their saturated rich, deep greens in satin finish, pale veins lightly quilting the surface. As hardy and super long blooming as can be, easy going and gorgeous! You just won't believe that red.

- Water - Med/High (4): Prefers more water than most, but soil can dry out periodically. Use a spray bottle to mist and increase humidity levels without soaking the soil and roots.
- Light - Medium (3): Plant prefers natural, diffused light. Can be placed in a spacious living room. Indirect light preferred. No direct sunlight on leaves.
- Difficulty - Low/Med (2): A little less finicky than most. Doesn't require much attention at all.
