Wolfgang is on the small side, as far as Neoregelias go, but this one has a big personality despite reaching only 8" high or so and up to 14" wide. This is a stellar hybrid from famous bromeliad breeder and collector, Chester Skotak, bred for brilliant color and unusual, super high gloss leaf finish. Wide, sawtooth edged, sturdy leaves rise up curved from the center and lay flat striped in creamy whites and emerald, olive and acid greens, with a flaming fuchsia splash from the center sometimes covering the whole plant when it wants to. Occasionally a pale pink stripe or two sneaks in too. Nested in the central cup will appear teeny, tiny purple 3-petaled flowers; shy and unassuming in their moist little pool. The foliage is the main event here.
