String of Turtles sounds like the name of a fun toy. Adorably round leaves in dark green sport regular branchy markings in pale green patterns like the markings on a turtle's back. Thick and fleshy, they fill the pot like a little pond brimming with turtles, with a few deciding it's too darn crowded in there and marching in a line down ruddy stems in offset pairs to trail somewhat stiffly. Native to Ecuador, it creeps along the ground perfectly at home on the jungle floor. Back in that pot you'll notice every leaf is turned to face you however much it grows, making it a pretty sight sitting on your table or counter. These turtles are awesome in a terrarium, where the leaves won't grow too big and it's easily trimmed to fit any space.
