Sedum De Oro, also called Golden Moss, is a succulent ground cover Stonecrop plant that just makes a great houseplant too. A pot filled with tiny starbursts (look real closely at it, the stars are so fun!) in almost fluorescent acid/chartreuse tops up its pot and spills over the edges to trail down, still looking to cover some ground. Reaching only about 3" in height De Oro keeps a moundy shape in whatever size pot it's in. A nice pinch of it in a terrarium kept on the dry side and in bright light adds amazing, brilliant color and those tiny stars are just the right size. Really pretty tucked in a low pot in an arrangement of multi-colored succulents and a handful of decorative gravel. You should see it in a deep grey or a cobalt blue pot! Treat this golden beauty like other succulents, let him dry out before each watering, but these tiny stars can't stay real dry for real long.
- Drought Tolerant
- Low Maintenance
- Pet Friendly
Quick Care Guide:
- Water - Low (1): Needs very little water to survive. Wait until the plant is completely dry then fully soak. Drought tolerant by nature.
- High - (5): Plant needs a lot of light; direct is even better. These plants do best when placed on a window sill or next to a bright window. Avoid concentrated, hot light from window which may cause burning (magnifying glass effect).
- Difficulty - Low (1): These plants need barely any attention to thrive. Set it and forget it.
