Marley is a relatively new Dracaena to arrive from careful commercial breeding programs, a Dracaena Fragrans quite similar to the Massangeana but different. Growing and resembling the shape and growth habits of the Massangeana, the main divergence is the bright new color. Long, arching, smooth leaves curve out in a fountain spray in really bright yellowy/chartreuse edged in emerald green stripes with a few extra emerald pinstripes randomly thrown in, each leaf going its own way. Like a Massangeana with its bright lights on. Growing on the usual straight up, Dracaena canes; beige, textured and strong, it is rumored to get around 6' but we suspect more height is possible in just the right conditions. (Quite slow growing, though). Just the right conditions are in your home in a bright spot without direct sun. More light is needed to keep the vivid yellowy/chartreuse bright. Shedding lower leaves as it spouts new ones at the top, you will get the character all Dracaenas get, also, if you cut a cane off it will sprout more than one new head and make even more personality. A Dracaena with this much splashy color and nerve needs a simple white or black pot or basket and a place alone on the floor.
