4" Philodendron Gergaji, Golden

$23.00

Gergaji in the Malaysian tongue means "saw", hence the nickname "sawtooth plant". A compact, upright but self-heading bushy shape; cool, contained and sure of itself, Gergaji won't be asking for any shaping or support, he's fine all on his own. The young, baby leaves can be smooth-edged lances, hiding their secret until they're a bit more mature, then developing a regular, toothy edges like pulling out their jaggedy daggers. Colored in an brilliant, acid/neon, yellowy lime, the newest leaves start out in shiny, pinky bronze then settle down (if you can call acid/neon lime settling down) to an all over brightness. The daggers all face outwards, backs together against the central stems, ready. As with all the neon plants, Gergaji loves to be next to darker green and purple plant friends to show off.
