Like the sails of an exotic ship are the large, triangular leaves of dark green leather with ropy, glowing, silver veins coming off the prominent midrib with a few extra sparky forks, to their curvy edges. The stems are variable pink/green and slender. This is not one of the huge Alocasias, reaching a perfect size of about 2' by 2' overall. Polly's nickname is African mask cause it has the wild look of a traditional tribal African mask. Coming from the South Pacific rainforest, living deep in the lush growth at the feet of tropical trees, Polly loves nice filtered light, misting, and the occasional feeding, and will feel as if it's still in the jungle as it looks around and sees your other plants and enjoys their company.
